Hello Coaches,

 

Welcome to the 2nd Annual June Jam Tournament. The Wood Youth Basketball League & Hardcore Hoops hopes that this tournament is a fun and enjoyable one for you and your team.

 

Check In-
All teams must check-in at at your game site one (1) hour before their first game, with the exception of the first team that plays at each site. These teams must check in right after their first game. Please have the following items ready to present at the check-in table-

 

1: All fee’s (if you have multiple teams please have payment for all teams at time of first check-in)

 

2: Age Verification- Provide a book or proof of age upon request.

 


3: If you have more than two (2) coaches per team please inform the check-in table. You may only receive one additional coaches pass per team.

 

Spectator Fee’s –             Adults $7.00

                                                Kids   $5.00 (under 12)

                                                Kids under 4 free

                                                Weekend Pass $$12.00

Players & Coaches are free  (coaches must have their coaches pass)

Weekend pass will be sold for this tournament

Rules-

Games - will consist of two (2) twenty (20) minute running clock halves with a two minute half time, with the last two minutes of the second halve to be stop clock if the score is ten points or less. Once stop clock is in effect it will remain that way for the remainder of the game.

 

Equipment - Basketballs will be 28.5 in size for 11u division and girls 13u division. All other divisions will use regulation size basketballs. No earrings, watches, bracelets, necklaces or other objects may be worn during the games.

 

Time OutsFour (4) one (1) minute time outs two per half will be allowed any time during the game. Regulation time outs will not carry over to overtime.

 

Overtime Periods Over Times will be two (2) minutes running  clock  ( the clock will not stop at anytime in overtime unless a time-out is used., Each team will receive one time out per over-time period. One time out can be carry-over from   . Overtime game will run until we have a winner.

 

Tie BreakerAll Tie Breakers will go by Head to Head records then by point differences with a maximum or 15pts per win or loss.

 

Good Sportsmanship -  One coach will be allowed to stand only if he/she is coaching their team, making substitutions, calling a time-out or cheering for their team. All other action must come from a seated position at their bench. Coaches will also be held responsible for their spectator’s actions.

 

Protests-  All protest must be logged with the score table prior to the start of the game or immediately after the end of the game. No protest will be accepted which involes decisions by the officials during the game.
